Shared Decision Making on Eating Plan Selections (Recorded)

Many practices do not have nutritional professionals to assist their patients make eating plan selections. Providers are called upon to help the patients with this important pillar of care. This presentation will review the current evidence for nutrition treatment in obesity including meal patterns and eating plans. Using case studies the presentation will provide examples of shared decision-making for goal setting to help patients move to using food as part of their successful obesity treatment plan.
