This session is focused on building knowledge, skills, and abilities in treating patients with obesity. Physicians preparing for the 2026 ABOM Exam will gain a thorough review of the core content within this exam category. The pathophysiological, neurohormonal, adaptive and regulatory mechanisms for weight regulation will be discussed as will the impact of epigenetics, environment, and other disruptors on obesity.
