This session will focus on the integration (how, what, why, etc.) of an obesity medicine program into an existing bariatric surgical program including the ROI assessments, clinical pathway development and obesity-specific standards as it relates to the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) that an obesity medicine physician medical director would need to be familiar with.
