Overcoming the Barriers of Weight Management by using OMA Resources (Recorded Webinar)
Patients and Primary Care Clinicians face numerous difficulties in providing effective, affordable weight loss and maintenance programs. The clinician needs to be knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, and motivated, while meeting each patient's unique expectations with an affordable program in an appropriate setting! The objective of this webinar is to illustrate such a weight loss program using OMA resources. I will describe how information from Obesity Algorithms, OMA office tools and lectures from OMA conferences can be used to activate our patients. This will be a distillation of the information of the 4 pillars of weight management in a user friendly format for the patient. To summarize and elaborate, I will share data of a weight loss program which I implemented in an employer sponsored clinic.
