Gender Differences in Obesity Treatment (Recorded)
The treatment approaches to obesity care often give little regard to gender specific needs in weight management. Nutritional, behavioral, and physical activity treatments vary widely between gender across the lifespan. Daniela Hurtado Andrade, MD, PhD will highlight key differences in the pathophysiology of obesity between men and women and how those differences impact obesity treatment.
