Nutrition Management in Modern Obesity Care: Supporting Health, Behavior, and Outcomes (Recorded Webinar)

As obesity treatments become more effective, there is a growing opportunity to focus not just on how much weight is lost, but on what is changing underneath and how those changes impact health, function, and long-term outcomes.

GLP-1 and incretin-based therapies are reshaping appetite, intake, and the patient experience. However, they also require thoughtful nutrition and behavioral support to ensure nutritional adequacy, support muscle and functional health, and promote sustainable habits over time.

This session will explore how nutrition and behavior strategies can be adapted to meet the realities of modern obesity treatment, including reduced intake, shifting dietary patterns, and variability in response. We will review what is known, and still evolving, about nutrition in this context, and highlight how dietitians and interdisciplinary teams can translate physiology into practical, patient-centered care.
