This session equips obesity medicine practitioners with the knowledge and tools to identify eating disorders earlier, reduce diagnostic blind spots driven by weight stigma, and deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care at the intersection of these two complex conditions.

Participants will examine how weight-focused interventions and societal pressures around body size can contribute to disordered eating behaviors, and will leave with practical screening strategies and treatment frameworks applicable to outpatient obesity care settings.
