This session will discuss the benefits of a carbohydrate-restricted diet on chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes with special attention on the role of nutrition in wound healing. Participants will gain insight into developing a multidisciplinary, patient-centered carbohydrate-restricted nutritional program, including evidence-based online tools and resources that can benefit both type 2 diabetes and wound healing.
