Beyond the Burn- Why Physical Activity is Essential for Health (Recorded Webinar)

Physical activity is often considered the “calorie-out” part of the equation of calorie balance. With newer anti-obesity medications leading to higher levels of weight reduction, primarily due to changes in caloric intake, some clinicians may be questioning the value of physical activity counseling. In this webinar, we will discuss why physical activity is crucial for health and well-being, especially since the development of newer highly effective anti-obesity medications. We will review the mechanism of action of various types of activity, and demonstrate that, without physical activity, we cannot optimize our patient’s health.
