Lipid Management with Weight Loss and Low-Carb Diets (Recorded Webinar)

Many clinicians are concerned with the amount of fat and lack of carbs in low-carb diets and fear they will raise LDL cholesterol and cardiovascular risk. Yet, studies show that, on average, those starting a low-carb or keto diet for weight loss or for treating type 2 diabetes do not see a rise in their LDL.

During this webinar, Dr. Scher will discuss strategies for helping your patients reduce their LDL while still following a low-carb diet for their metabolic health and weight loss. Strategies such as nutrition changes, supplements, and prescriptions medication can be used to develop a treatment plan that helps your patient continue on their weight loss journey while also managing LDL.
