Medication Management Micro-credential (2026)
The Medication Management micro-credential provides clinicians with the knowledge needed to select, initiate, adjust, and monitor evidence-based obesity medications within a comprehensive treatment plan. This pathway covers mechanisms of action, clinical indications, safety considerations, dosing strategies, and longitudinal monitoring of pharmacologic interventions.
Learners develop the ability to evaluate medication history for agents that may contribute to weight gain, choose appropriate obesity medications for varying clinical scenarios, and integrate pharmacotherapy with lifestyle and behavioral approaches.

Completion of this course alone does not qualify you for the Micro-Credential.
You must complete this course + one (or more) Fundamentals of Obesity Treatment course to earn the Micro-Credential.
All required courses (Micro-credential Course + one Fundamentals Course) must be fully completed in the LMS for credit to apply. Once both requirements are met, the Micro-Credential will be awarded.
