Nutrition Therapy Micro-credential (2026)
The Nutrition Therapy micro-credential equips clinicians with the knowledge and practical tools needed to evaluate dietary patterns, identify behavioral and environmental contributors to nutritional intake, and develop individualized, evidence-based nutrition plans for people with obesity. Clinicians completing this micro-credential gain competency in conducting structured nutrition assessments, designing tailored nutrition interventions, and adapting care plans to align with metabolic health, comorbidities, and patient preferences.

You must complete this course + one (or more) Fundamentals of Obesity Treatment course to earn the Micro-Credential.
All required courses (Micro-credential Course + one Fundamentals Course) must be fully completed in the LMS for credit to apply. Once both requirements are met, the Micro-Credential will be awarded.
