Obesity Medicine 2025 - Optimizing Movement for Obesity Management: Evidence Based Applications (Recorded)

In the midst of a global obesity epidemic, traditional exercise approaches often fail to engage or produce sustainable results for many individuals. This session will address the critical issue of physical inactivity and the widespread aversion to conventional exercise, proposing a revolutionary approach that makes movement both effective and enjoyable while directly addressing the impact of movement on obesity and related pathologies. We’ll provide evidence-based techniques and real-world examples of how to integrate playful, primal movements into obesity treatment plans, making physical activity accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable for all populations. Clinicians will leave the session with specific examples of movements and activities that patients can easily perform, making physical activity less daunting and more engaging.
