OMA 2023 Spring Summit: The Role of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) in Obesity Management (On Demand)
This presentation will provide an overview of the evidence basis for using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in patients with obesity. Additional discussion includes patient types and practice settings where CGM provides the highest utility in the management of obesity. We will also identify the gaps in the current body of evidence, which create the need and determine the direction of future research. Lastly, the presentation will discuss future sensors in development that promise to continuously monitor other chemicals, such as lactate and ketones.
