OMA Summit 2025 (Live)

October 2, 2025 to October 4, 2025

The Obesity Summit™, focusing on Obesity + Cardiovascular Health, (OMASummit25) explores the evolving intersection between obesity medicine and cardiovascular health through a series of lectures, interactive case studies, and dynamic breakout sessions. Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the epidemiologic and mechanistic links between obesity and cardiovascular disease (CVD), including the roles of inflammation, insulin resistance, and adipose tissue dysfunction. Sessions will cover critical topics such as heart failure, the obesity paradox, and limitations in cardiovascular risk assessment in individuals with obesity. Evidence-based strategies for prevention and treatment, including the use of anti-obesity medications (AOMs), bariatric surgery, and lifestyle interventions, will be discussed with an emphasis on tailoring approaches to individual patient profiles.

Breakout sessions during Obesity Summit™ will highlight emerging areas like the role of gut microbiota and sex-specific cardiovascular risks in women with obesity. Casework will provide practical application of data, featuring real-world clinical scenarios and lessons from landmark trials. The program is designed to equip clinicians with the latest science and tools to improve cardiovascular outcomes in patients with obesity across diverse populations. By integrating current research with clinical best practices, the conference aims to advance multidisciplinary care in the fields of obesity medicine and cardiovascular prevention.

The OMASummit25 is a two-day conference offering up to 11 CME/CE credits in Cedar Creek, Texas on October 2-4.
