Overcoming Obesity 2023 - Clinical Excellence: Recognizing and Managing Disordered Eating Behaviors (Recorded)

In adolescents and adults, the co-occurrence of eating disorders and overweight or obesity is continuing to increase. The prevalence of eating disorders is higher in people with higher weight, who are also more likely to present for weight loss than for eating disorder treatment. The presenters, a patient advocate and an expert in obesity and disordered eating behaviors (DEB’s), will provide two key perspectives to improve excellence and comprehensiveness in evaluation and treatment of obesity and DEB’s. Tools for successful identification and management of patients will be included.
