The purpose of this presentation is to provide attendees with simple, clear, evidence-based information on clinically safe exercise programming. While there will be a strong emphasis on resistance training program design, the content will also cover aerobic exercise programming. The concepts, guidelines, and principles explained apply to all populations across the lifespan; will instruct how to merge medical and rehabilitation guidelines with exercise science; and will describe modifications for those living with overweight and obesity.
